After delivering some of the most memorable screen performances in the past few years—who could forget her scene-stealing turn in the billion-dollar grosser Bohemian Rhapsody?—Lucy Boynton is ready for her close-up. The first order of business: starring in Chanel’s latest Coco Crush campaign.
Bringing her A-game to the set, the British-American actress parades the collection’s newest creations notably the uber-cool single earring in white gold. Other standout pieces include the new mini bracelets, in yellow, white, and beige gold, which feature the rotating and invisible Coco Twist clasp.
Embodying the special encounters Gabrielle Chanel experienced in her lifetime, smooth incisions crisscross the arched surface of the jewellery—some are paired with glittering diamonds—as a symbol of luck and destiny intersecting. They also recall Chanel’s quintessential quilted motif.
Boynton, who is also the house ambassador, is joined by the likes of singer Jennie and actress Amandla Stenberg for the campaign. Together, they make a divine trinity of new guards at Chanel whose facets, much like the Coco Crush creations, combine strength and delicacy as well as softness and rigour.
