Actress Lily-Rose Depp has stepped into the spotlight once again, this time as the muse of Chanel’s latest endeavour, the Première Édition Originale campaign.
The renowned fashion house is reintroducing the Première Originale watch, a nod to its inaugural collection which marks its 35th anniversary.
Lily-Rose embodies the essence of sophistication as she graces the Première Édition Originale watch, a faithful reimagining of the 1987 model that originally debuted as Chanel’s inaugural iconic timepiece. Crafted under the creative direction of Jacques Helleu, the Maison’s former artistic visionary, this watch encapsulates the DNA of Chanel while artfully portraying and celebrating its illustrious heritage.
The meticulously fashioned steel case, cloaked in resplendent 18-karat yellow gold, exudes opulence. The strap, interwoven with leather accents, is a subtle nod to Chanel’s signature quilted handbags – a hallmark of timeless style.
Upon the watch face, two gold hands and the monochromatic Chanel emblem stand as testaments to the brand’s enduring legacy. The former star of The Idol herself described it as a “watch only Chanel could make”.
