The Bvlgari B.zero1 collection is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year in a big way. The singular jewellery range is the star of the Bvlgari Icon campaign for 2024, a visual toast to its embodiment of creative expression, infinite perspectives, and endless innovation.
Directed by Cara Stricker and lensed by David Sims, the film series and shot images feature Bvlgari brand ambassadors Lisa, of the K-pop group Blackpink, and the actress Zendaya enveloped and backdropped by the B.zero1’s striking profile. Through dynamic cinematography and photography, the campaign spotlights the Bvlgari B.zero1 design and its beauty, energy and confidence. While Lisa and Zendaya evoke power, strength and courage, the B.zero1 motif channels perfect harmony and synchronisation, and transcends space and time.
The B.zero1 design originated as an amalgamation of ancient and modern inspirations: the circular structure of the Roman Colosseum, Bvlgari’s logo engraved in the style of Roman-era coins, and the Maison’s ingenious Tubogas fabrication technique. Over the years, it has undergone a steady evolution and countless transformations from its original form, with variations in volumes, thickness, materials, embellishment and gem-setting demonstrating its vast potential for creative exploration.
This year’s B.zero1 novelties continue that tradition, with yellow gold, white gold or rose gold creations that express that continual metamorphosis. Brilliant reimaginations comprise of diamond pavé on openwork instead of three solid precious-metal bands, and two-band rings that offer a slimmer profile,
also featuring a scintillating diamond pavé or a slim row of single diamonds. In June, matching bangles set with diamonds are slated to make their debut, concluding the latest chapter in the B.zero1 saga.
