Remember when Kendall Jenner wore head-to-toe Phoebe Philo to shop at The Row’s Melrose Place boutique in Los Angeles? For Australian adherents of the British designer, recreating this fantasy will soon be a reality with the former Celine creative director revealing her pieces will soon be shipped directly to your doorstep.

From November onwards, Philo-ites can cradle her deliciously sumptuous caped leather bomber or gilded ‘MUM’ necklace without the hassle of a freight forwarding service—or even hit up Oxford Street’s Parlour X, who will stock the independently-owned label, to peruse the delectable tailoring and luxurious fabrics in person.

The announcement also came with another joyous surprise: A teaser of Philo’s chic sophomore collection.

This range is the second to drop since the London-based sartorial auteur announced the eponymous label in July 2021. Good things certainly come to those who wait, and with the styles set to arrive in early 2025, you can rest assured that those who appear on the ‘nice’ list this gifting season will only want one thing.

In a preview shared on Philo’s Instagram page, it’s clear the 50-year-old hasn’t deviated from her design methodology for the modern woman. Titled ‘Collection B’ to reinforce her trendless and seasonless approach to dressing, the garments are a masterclass in austere decadence.

As Philo taught us all those years ago, it doesn’t take a lot to look good; a stream of silk cut asymmetrically to draw the eye down the body, high-quality knits crafted with the perfect amount of slouch, straight-leg trousers that gather ever so slightly at the ankle to convey a sense of elegant nonchalance.

These hallmarks have reappeared again in burgundy pinstripe shirting, high-neck military jackets made from dune-coloured wool with matching epaulettes and liquid shirting featuring elongated trains.

New additions have also emerged in the form of the first-ever graphic t-shirt from the brand—a style that features her chic red-type logo printed over a close-up of sequin fabric—a tinsel-esque waterfall necklace styled over a ribbed grey tank and a ludicrously capacious white rosette we demand Carrie Bradshaw wear in the next season of And Just Like That.

We could go on, but we’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. Without further ado, your first glimpse at Philo’s next drop below and sign up for updates at Phoebe Philo, here
