Chances are, we all know at least one person whose life has been upended by a form of cancer; somebody’s mother, somebody’s friend, or even a reader reading this right now. A disease that doesn’t discriminate, it causes tremendous heartache; a unique set of seemingly endless worries for not only the person being treated, but for their family, friends, colleagues and community.

“When someone we love has cancer, we are all affected—husbands, wives, mothers and fathers, sisters, brothers, and friends,” says Ralph Lauren.

For over 30 years, the American fashion house has been a leader in the fight against cancer. Its Pink Pony Initiative—the company’s global philanthropic program dedicated to cancer care and prevention—has raised millions of dollars to support research, screenings, early diagnosis tools, treatment, education and patient navigation. It’s a commitment deeply inspired by Mr. Lauren’s friend, American fashion editor, Nina Hyde, who passed away from breast cancer in the 90s. She was 57.

Every year, all donations raised from Ralph Lauren’s Pink Pony collections benefit the Pink Pony Fund of The Ralph Lauren Corporate Foundation, as well as international network of cancer charities. And this season, the Maison has teamed up with the McGrath Foundation as part of its 2024 Pink Pony campaign.

Refreshed this season with a youthful range of athleisure in pink and black, the 2024 Pink Pony collection aims to engage a new generation of supporters.

In support of this year’s campaign, Ralph Lauren will donate 25 percent of the gross sales from all Pink Pony products sold to the McGrath Foundation. In addition, 100 percent of the gross sales from the Ralph Lauren “LIVE/LOVE” Collection, including the unisex cap and cashmere sweater, will be donated to support the Foundation’s vital work in this country.

All items will be available to purchase in Malaysia from September 30 in select Ralph Lauren stores, on RalphLauren.com.my and in select global wholesale stores. Shop our editors’ favourite pieces below.
