Gucci girl Hanni is back with her second campaign for the Italian fashion brand. This time, the NewJeans member and K-pop star fronts a campaign celebrating the Gucci Horsebit 1955 bag.
In the vibrant images and video, which was spearheaded by Gucci creative director Sabato De Sarno, Hanni shows off her playful charms as she explores the streets of Seoul. She carries the Gucci Horsebit 1955 bag, which is marked by its double ring and bar hardware taken from an archival design by the fashion house. Hanni also flaunts new editions of the bag that come in Gucci Rosso Ancora—Gucci’s signature shade of red, as introduced by De Sarno—which are exclusively offered in South Korea.
In the campaign video, which is soundtracked by the NewJeans track ETA, Hanni is seen sporting casual styles and staples from Gucci’s recent womenswear collections by De Sarano. That includes a hoodie, a cropped leather jacket and a “GG” monogram miniskirt. In one shot, the 19-year-old wears a tank top, a pair of jeans, and the Gucci Horsebit 1953 loafers which, like the aforementioned bag, feature the equestrian-inspired hardware detail. That makes her one of the first women to wear the shoes in a Gucci campaign—not too long after actor Paul Mescal went viral for wearing the loafers in his campaign for the brand late last year.
Hanni joined the Gucci family as a global brand ambassador in October 2022, a few months after she made her K-pop debut with the girl group NewJeans. On top of attending the luxury brand’s fashion shows at Milan Fashion Week, as well as its Cruise 2024 presentation in Seoul, Hanni also fronted a campaign for the Gucci Horsebit 1955 campaign last year. The campaign also starred celebrities like Halle Bailey and Julia Garner.
This time, Hanni is solely in the spotlight. Take a closer look at her new campaign with Gucci below.
