Celebrating German Engineering since 1976, MCM has consistently defied conventions. As they celebrate their Munich roots while venturing into the cosmos, MCM solidifies their position as a luxury leader for a new generation. Creative Director Katie Chung unveiled the collection at the enchanting Palazzo Serbelloni earlier this year in Milan, creating a captivating contrast between Earth and Mars. The collection is a fresh take on heritage pieces, reimagining luxury with a modern twist. Standouts include the Diamant 3D, a revolutionary bag that reconceives the classic Diamant clutch with a bold, three-dimensional silhouette. Featuring a spacious zipper compartment, it’s perfect for the digital nomad. Available in a luxurious range of materials, including cow suede, fine Italian calf leather, striking silver metallic calf leather, and the iconic cognac Visetos.
As Chung explains, “The inspiration began with a pocket design, which evolved into a bag and then a 3D render, resulting in the Diamant 3D. Originating from the Visetos diamond pattern, the Diamant series embodies the diamond shape of functional pockets. These pockets, folded like origami, reveal a diamond within the Visetos monogram, actualized into a bag. The Diamant 3D incorporates zippers for utility, making the pockets three-dimensional and cargo-like.”
The Black Label line, a pinnacle of elegance, and the introduction of Laurel Denim Jacquard, Monogram Re-Nylon, metallic leather, and refined grain leather, are must-sees. The Silver Swarovski Ballerinas, Monogrammed Moccasins, metallic snow boots, new eyewear partnership with Marcolin, and the floral fragrance MCM Crush complete the brand’s captivating aura.
