Every April, festival-goers around the globe flock to the Colorado desert, dressed to the nines in their best festival fashion as they enjoy the pulsating music and liberating ambience of Coachella. With Lana Del Rey, Doja Cat and Tyler The Creator headlining this year’s event, Coachella 2024 was nothing short of spectacular. Beyond the performers on stage, a star-studded guest list graced the festival grounds, each bringing their own unique style. While Coachella is best associated with bohemian fashion, this year showcased an eclectic mix of styles spanning from cowboy couture to mermaidcore and ’90s grunge.
As the 2024 Coachella draws to a close, GRAZIA Singapore looks back at some of the best fashion moments going down in history. Ahead, see all the best Coachella looks from celebrities such as Blackpink’s Lisa, Hailey Bieber, Olivia Rodrigo and many more.
Lisa of Blackpink
Despite Blackpink’s absence from the Coachella stage this year, Lisa still made a mark at the music festival with her impeccable off-duty look. During the weekend festivities, the K-pop star went for a casual ensemble comprising a mini crop top, high-waisted shorts and a black leather jacket. She showcased her love for Louis Vuitton by accessorising with the Capucines East-West Mini bag and a pair of Patti High Wedges Boots from the fashion house’s Fall/Winter 2021 collection. When nightfall came, she bundled up by slipping into a Louis Vuitton varsity jacket paired with blue jeans and a white t-shirt for ultimate comfort.
Olivia Rodrigo
Olivia Rodrigo joined Gwen Stefani’s rock band No Doubt on stage for a surprise performance while delivering her best interpretation of the punk-rock style. She wore classic black Converse shoes, navy utility trousers and a tank top that read ‘I love ND’, with her bold red bralette straps peeking out. To seal the look, she mimicked Stefani’s top knot hairdo and styled her hair up.
Hailey Bieber
Hailey Bieber’s Coachella outfits have always revolved around a casual and laid-back look. Baggy blue jeans, mini crop tops and sleek leather jackets are her go-to choices for the music festival, and this year was no different. She posted her look on Instagram with the caption “the category is comfort” as she donned an oversized leather jacket as a dress. To complete the look, she styled her hair in a ‘90s blowout bob haircut and painted her nails with glow-in-the-dark neon green polish.
Megan Fox
An effortless way to embrace the spirit of festival fashion is through accessorising: simply slip into a pair of cowboy boots or throw on a cowboy hat and you’re good to go. Megan Fox did just that. The actress added a touch of rodeo flair to her understated ensemble of a white tank top, denim shorts, and leather jacket by accessorising with a straw cowboy hat.
Paris Hilton
After more than a decade of attending Coachella, Paris Hilton is synonymous with bold festival fashion. This year, she transformed into a ‘Neon Raver Barbie’ dressed in a striking neon green sequinned two-piece set with matching knee-high boots. And of course, she topped it off with a pair of lime green sunglasses, an accessory she’d never seen without.
Halle Bailey
Halle Bailey brought Mermaidcore to the California desert. The Little Mermaid star attended weekend one of the festival in support of her sister, Chloe Bailey, who delivered an electrifying performance at Coachella with hits from her debut album. Halle confidently flaunted her postpartum body in a shimmery teal bikini top that resembled the iridescent scales of mermaids.
Alessandra Ambrosio
While modern styles have been popular among festival goers, Alessandra Ambrosio stuck to classic bohemian fashion donning a tie-dye sweater, brown suede bikini top and denim shorts.
