Braun Buffel and Smiley® have released a limited edition capsule collection that taps into the nostalgia of old-school friendship. In the days before the internet, many friendships were forged through the sheer act of meeting up, playing together, and sharing laughter. It is this precise moments of youth that inspired the building blocks of this collaboration.
We are all familiar with the Smiley® brand; since the 1950s, it has become an iconic pop culture reference all in the name of creating a happier world. This collaboration with Braun Buffel carries on that ethos, and the campaign is aptly named “Take The Time To Smile®”. The capsule collection itself combines both retro and modern styles in a colour palette that is reminiscent of the 80s.
The collection consists of genderless, ready-to-wear pieces, small leather goods, and large leather goods, all emblazoned with the Braun Buffel X Smiley® logo, featuring three iconic smiley faces. In conjunction with this collaboration, Braun Buffel has also introduced limited-edition surfskates and skateboards. Unfortunately, these are not available for sale.
