Gordon Ramsay Street Pizza
Did someone say bottomless pizzas? Internationally renowned British celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay did. The first Southeast Asian outlet of his pizza chain just opened at Sunway Pyramid this year, and it’s a mega-hit. To be fair, it’s quite hard for a restaurant to miss with an unlimited pizza concept, but we digress.
At MYR58 per pax, customers can enjoy as many pizzas as their hearts—and stomachs—desire, served to them straight from the oven once their plates are empty. The restaurant offers five different types of pizza: Meatball, Corn & Chorizo, Ham & Pineapple, Classic Margherita, and Tandoori Paneer. Established in 2020, Heritage Pizza is Milan-born Antonio ‘Tony’ Delachi’s baby, located in the very heart of the city. Heritage opened during the worst of the pandemic but survived it as well, that’s a true testament to how good the pizza is. A pork-friendly joint, their best sellers include the classic Cinque Formaggi (or five cheeses) pizza. If you have a sweet tooth and like nuts and honey drizzled on your slice of pie, be sure to give this one a try.

With the tagline “not just pizza”, you know you’re up for way more than you bargained for at Alta Pizza. As promised, the other dishes available at the restaurant like their Stracciatella salad and smoked eel Handkerchief pasta are often raved about online. But the place isn’t named Alta Pizza for nothing. A major standout amongst their pizza offerings is their astonishing Escargot pizza topped with lemon, garlic, and—you guessed it—escargots. We know it takes a little guts to accept snails on your pizza, but you might be in for a pleasant surprise. Live a little.

A favourite here at GRAZIA, our team was lucky enough to be invited to sample the fare at Good News Pizza and it was an experience. The only pizza spot on Petaling Street, this newly-opened restaurant has a retro-chic vibe that puts you at ease upon entry. Boasting ten gourmet pizzas and four classics, Good News perfected each one over years of trial and error. Out of their superb lineup, the Borneo Pizza is an absolute highlight. The Borneo is a triumphant ode to ingredients found locally like the Sarawak black peppercorn and kulim oil. A nod to our roots is always appreciated, especially when it’s a delicious one.
