If you have a big appetite, going to a restaurant with a name that means ‘enormous’ in Italian will surely be a relief. True to its name, customers at the Enorme Italian Restaurant can opt for their Enorme-sized pizza, an absolutely massive dish of pie that can easily serve an entire family. Catering to tummies big and small, the restaurant also offers Extra Small-sized pizza so you can get to try their standouts like the Al Nero di seppia e Fruitti di Mare pizza with tiger prawns, scallops, squid rings, clams, and squid ink sauce—a seafood heaven.

Did someone say bottomless pizzas? Internationally renowned British celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay did. The first Southeast Asian outlet of his pizza chain just opened at Sunway Pyramid this year, and it’s a mega-hit. To be fair, it’s quite hard for a restaurant to miss with an unlimited pizza concept, but we digress.
At MYR58 per pax, customers can enjoy as many pizzas as their hearts—and stomachs—desire, served to them straight from the oven once their plates are empty. The restaurant offers five different types of pizza: Meatball, Corn & Chorizo, Ham & Pineapple, Classic Margherita, and Tandoori Paneer. Be sure to ask your servers about their daily special pizza as well.

This popular pizzeria already deserves full points for the clever wordplay in its name. Originally known as Pizza Brava with two thriving outlets in the city, Eatalia has remained one of the most beloved pizza joints in Kuala Lumpur for 20 years and counting. Cool hipster decorations aside, their wide pizza selection is definitely the backbone of their success. With 22 different types on offer, first-time customers will be hard-pressed to decide which to order first. Give it your best shot anyway when you make your visit.

Looking for a pizza place that’s open late enough for you to hang out with your friends after work? Operating from 6PM to 11PM, La Risata—located in Ampang and Medan Damansara—is a stellar choice. With a name that means ‘the laughter’ in Italian, here’s a place where you and your girlfriends can all put your hair down. La Risata’s wood-fired cooked pizzas are thin-crusted perfection, lauded by their customers for their generous portions. Lamb lovers, go for the Pizza Polpette D’Agnello topped with homemade lamb patties.

A pizza restaurant can’t get any more authentic than when it’s founded by an actual Italian. Established in 2020, Heritage Pizza is Milan-born Antonio ‘Tony’ Delachi’s baby, located in the very heart of the city. Heritage opened during the worst of the pandemic but survived it as well, that’s a true testament to how good the pizza is. A pork-friendly joint, their best sellers include the classic Cinque Formaggi (or five cheeses) pizza. If you have a sweet tooth and like nuts and honey drizzled on your slice of pie, be sure to give this one a try.

It’s a pain for local non-meat eaters to find pizza they can actually eat. Unfortunately, the list only gets shorter when factoring in taste. That’s where Round Pizza Napoletana comes in, serving mouthwatering meatless pizzas like their popular Marinara. A haven for all, there are also plenty of options for carnivores and spicy food lovers alike. Round Pizza Napoletana’s Diavola (which translates to ‘Devil’) pizza comes to mind. Slathered in habanero chilli and fermented habanero salsa, this uber-hot Diavola promises to leave you in absolute tears—but it’s an experience you won’t regret.

With the tagline “not just pizza”, you know you’re up for way more than you bargained for at Alta Pizza. As promised, the other dishes available at the restaurant like their Stracciatella salad and smoked eel Handkerchief pasta are often raved about online. But the place isn’t named Alta Pizza for nothing. A major standout amongst their pizza offerings is their astonishing Escargot pizza topped with lemon, garlic, and—you guessed it—escargots. We know it takes a little guts to accept snails on your pizza, but you might be in for a pleasant surprise. Live a little.

A favourite here at GRAZIA, our team was lucky enough to be invited to sample the fare at Good News Pizza and it was an experience. The only pizza spot on Petaling Street, this newly-opened restaurant has a retro-chic vibe that puts you at ease upon entry. Boasting ten gourmet pizzas and four classics, Good News perfected each one over years of trial and error. Out of their superb lineup, the Borneo Pizza is an absolute highlight. The Borneo is a triumphant ode to ingredients found locally like the Sarawak black peppercorn and kulim oil. A nod to our roots is always appreciated, especially when it’s a delicious one.
