American movie icons Reese Witherspoon and Will Ferrell go head-to-head in this upcoming comedy. The movie follows Margot (Witherspoon) who is planning her sister’s wedding and a father (Ferrell) planning his daughter’s wedding. They discover that they are double-booked for their destination wedding. They end up sharing the same venue but chaos and disaster ensue. Both of them are determined to make sure their families have the perfect wedding—no matter the cost.

Asura

Four close-knit sisters have their world turned upside down when they learn that their ageing father not only has a lover but also a child. They promise to keep it from their mother, but the affair triggers a domino effect, revealing secrets and unresolved tensions in each of their lives. Much like the Asura in Buddhist cosmology—demigods caught in constant emotional turmoil, the sisters are constantly at odds with each other, yet they share moments of raw vulnerability and deep connection. As they navigate their differing views on love and loyalty, their bond is tested on what it truly means to be sisters.

Don’t Die: The Man Who Wants To Live Forever
Premieres 1st January on Netflix
How far would you go to live forever? Or even just slow down the ageing process? In this documentary, wealthy entrepreneur Bryan Johnson puts his body and fortune on the line. It dives into his controversial wellness practices such as taking 130 pills daily, weekly MRIs and plasma exchanges. The doc also focuses on the effects Johnson’s journey has had on his life and those around him, including his father and teenage son.

Severance Season 2
Premieres 17th January on Apple TV
Work-life balance gets a whole new meaning in this series. At Lumon Industries, employees go through a procedure called ‘Severance’, where a chip is implanted in their brain, splitting their memories into two distinct sets: one for work, and one for personal life. Mark, one of the employees, starts to question the ethics of the procedure and the strange things happening at the company. The highly acclaimed series is back for a second season with Mark and his friends learning the dire consequences of going against the ‘Severance’. American Primeval

If you’re a fan of The Revenant and the bloody history of early America, this is the series for you. Set in the Wild West of 1857, a mother and son flee from their past to form a new family while facing the unforgiving landscape of freedom and violence. In this brutal world, mercy is hard to come by, and both men and women will kill to keep or control their land. The only thing that matters here? Survival.

Most cop dramas focus on detective duos, but On Call takes a different approach. It follows Traci, a tough veteran cop with a protective side, as she trains the next generation of officers. She’s paired with Alex, a rookie who’s trying to keep his idealism intact as he faces the tough realities of modern-day policing. Together, they handle intense emergencies while dealing with the emotional fallout of losing a fellow officer.

Philomena Cunk is back, asking the big questions we’ve all been too afraid to ask. If you’re unfamiliar with her, Cunk is a fictional character played by British comedian Diane Morgan. She’s a satirical, clueless “documentary presenter” who gets all the best awkward, hilarious moments by interviewing real historians, theologians, and experts—asking them the most absurd questions. In Cunk on Life, she’s tackling the universe and everything, on a quest to finally answer the ultimate question: what’s the meaning of life?

Set in a dystopian future, the story dives into the toxic relationship between Iris and Josh. Josh is charismatic but psychotic and Iris finds herself trapped in his web of manipulation. Most of the movie’s plot is under wraps but the scenes from the trailer itself are quite unhinged. It’s a dark and unsettling look at love gone horribly wrong.

Back in Action

Cameron Diaz is back on the big screen, and what better way to make her return than in a movie literally called Back in Action? She stars alongside Jamie Foxx as two seemingly average parents with a huge secret: they used to be top-tier secret agents. But when their cover gets blown, they’re pulled back into the world of espionage—with explosions, high-speed chases, and gunfights. But things become much more complicated now that they have a daughter.

Wolf Man
Premieres 14th January on Cinemas
A reboot of the 1941 classic The Wolf Man, this version follows Blake, a family man who moves his wife and daughter to his childhood home in Oregon for a fresh start. The house has been empty since his estranged father disappeared under mysterious circumstances, presumed dead. During a full moon, the family is attacked by a werewolf that claws Blake’s arm. They lock themselves inside the house, but as the nights pass, Blake begins to change into something monstrous, putting his wife and daughter in danger.
