A Nice Indian Boy' Review: An Appealing Queer Romantic Comedy

Love gets complicated in this charming rom-com about Naveen (Karen Soni), a second-generation Indian American who brings home the perfect guy named Jay (Jonathan Groff)… except he’s not quite what his Tamil parents anticipated. With humour, honesty, and just the right amount of chaos, this film authentically portrays South Asian traditions, queer love, and family expectations in a way that feels both fresh and familiar. The Handmaid's Tale' Final Season Trailer: The Rebellion Is Here

Visually bleak yet hauntingly beautiful, this chapter of Margret Atwood’s dystopian saga doesn’t hold back with its sixth and final season. June Osborne continues her relentless battle against the oppressive regime of Gilead, navigating new alliances, old enemies, and difficult trauma. Elisabeth Moss remains magnetic as June, her character serving as a brutal reminder of what’s at stake when a woman’s freedom and autonomy are no longer a given. As the critically acclaimed series builds toward its final resolution, expect questions of justice and survival to take centre stage. It’s raw, powerful storytelling that demands your attention every episode.

Sinners Trailer: Michael B. Jordan Stars in Ryan Coogler Movie

A Gothic horror from Ryan Coogler with Michael B. Jordan in a dual role? Say less. Set in 1930s Southern America, it follows twin brothers who return home and are later trapped in a secluded barn with a group of strangers. They are forced to relive and confront their sinful secrets and oh—vampires too! Genre-blending and deeply atmospheric, the film explores generational trauma, racial injustice, and salvation in a supernatural setting. It’s more than jump scares, it’s storytelling with a serious bite. Creepy and moody, this is one of the boldest horror films of the year. You Season 5

Premieres 24th April on Netflix

Penn Badgley as Joe Goldberg in season 5 of ‘You.’

Joe Goldberg is back—and for the last time. Netflix’s hit thriller series brings the anti-hero full circle as he returns to New York, haunted by ghosts of his past (some literal, some not). Old habits die hard as Joe’s attempt at suppressing his killer instincts quickly spirals into a new obsession, filled with deception and murder, again. With familiar faces and secrets unravelling, the hunt is on—not just for love, but for redemption. Can the bookworm-turned-serial stalker finally outrun who he is… or will he be consumed by it? Still disturbingly watchable and gasp-worthy, this final season will tie up loose ends, but not without blood. Goodbye, Joe.

The Accountant 2

Ben Affleck Crunches Numbers — And Bones — With Jon Bernthal In The Accountant 2 First-Look Photos

Ben Affleck suits up again as Christian Wolff in this action-packed sequel to the 2016 sleeper hit. This time, the brilliant but deadly forensic accountant uncovers a cybercrime conspiracy that pulls him back into a world of ruthless violence, numbers, and brotherly drama. Jon Bernthal reprises his role as Brax, and the sibling dynamic takes centre stage amidst the hail of bullets. Fans can expect higher stakes with intense action sequences, high-tech intrigue, and Affleck’s signature stoicism. It’s part action-thriller, part brainy procedural—accounting has never looked cooler. If you liked the first one, this one doubles down. A satisfying, smart sequel with punch.
