Things to do in KL and PJ in December 2024
It is what is it: chi too and his stupid ideas
“It is what is it” is a solo exhibition by self-taught Malaysian artist Chi Too. His work blends humour, satire, and visual playfulness, bringing back the absurd and carefreeness of his early art days in the 2010s. The show features chaotic, fun moments like a race with packing tape, karaoke wordplay, and indoor fireworks—plus a collection of IKEA SAMLA boxes filled with personal donations that offer a peek into people’s lives. Through this exhibition, Chi Too reminds us all to embrace the fun and be ‘stupid’, especially in a world that can sometimes take itself a little too seriously.
Entry is free.
