Over the weekend, the royal family invited famous faces and aristocratic guests from around the world to observe the official coronation of King Charles III. Among those attending the celebrations was newlywed Sofia Richie, who nailed the dress code in a chic matching set.
Ready to support her father, Lionel Richie, who performed at the post-ceremony concert alongside Katy Perry and Andrea Bocelli, Richie gave her followers a BTS look at her bright fuchsia outfit by Destree.
Made up of a cropped buttoned-up jacket and high-waisted, flared trousers, the silk co-ord featured a military-style neckline and puffed sleeves that gave it an apt regal feel. She kept the rest of the look simple with chunky gold earrings, a bracelet, a black purse and pointed stilettos by Saint Laurent.
The historic affair drew a very stylish crowd, with guests like Kate Middleton, Queen Letizia of Spain, Queen Rania of Jordan, Lady Louise Windsor, Princess Beatrice and Katy Perry all opting for show-stopping hues.
While the concert didn’t call for headwear or the usual ‘rules’ of formality for royal garb, Richie’s look, styled by Liat Baruch, was a masterclass in modern elegance.
Having just celebrated a massive few weeks of getting married to partner Elliot Grainge, the 24-year-old hasn’t missed a beat in the wardrobe department. Boasting a heap of snaps from her wedding festivities in the South of France, followed by her honeymoon in the Maldives, Richie’s effortless style has been all the internet can talk about lately.
Aside from her three custom Chanel bridal looks, the model wore an inspired rotation of looks by Proenza Schouler, Khaite, Christopher Esber, Magda Butrym, Loewe and Posse. Richie can even be seen in one post carrying a mini Hermès Kelly bag in a familiar fuchsia tone.
