She's that stunna.

Just last week, global fashion icon and pop star Jennie announced that she would finally be releasing her debut studio in March. Titled Ruby, the album takes inspiration from Jennie’s middle name, and promises to be an explosion of musical artistry. Just like her blonde adventures during Chanel’s Spring/Summer 2025 show last year, it wouldn’t be a Jennie moment without a striking new look. On the album cover, Jennie sports a monochromatic—dare we say, iconic?—ruby-red look. It’s not just the makeup; her eyebrows and hair all carry a strong red hue, as a tangible embodiment of the album’s title. In anticipation of Jennie’s first solo album, we show you the products you need to recreate this bold look.

Red Blush

RARE BEAUTY Soft Pinch Liquid Blush in Grateful SHOP NOW

Forget blush blindness, it’s time to go heavy. With Rare Beauty’s viral Soft Pinch Liquid Blush in shade Grateful, you can achieve Jennie’s ultra-flushed look with just a drop of product. Highly pigmented with a dewy finish, the blush blends beautifully on the skin, especially when used with the Soft Pinch Blush Brush.

Red Brows

NARS COSMETICS Amour Collection Quad Eyeshadow in shade Sweet Kiss SHOP NOW

Dyeing your brows isn’t the only way to mimic the red brows that Jennie rocks for Ruby. Just grab your trusty eyebrow primer (a clear brow mascara will work just as well) and make sure to coat your brows evenly. Then, with a small angled brush, dip into your favourite matte red powder eyeshadow, like this one from Nars Cosmetics’s Amour Collection. For more dimension, you can also start with a brighter orange shade before deepening the pigment with a deep red to your desired intensity.

Red Tinted Lips

DIOR BEAUTY Dior Addict Lip Maximizer in shade Dior 8 Intense SHOP NOW

For a smoking red tint on the lips, reach for the Dior Addict Lip Maximizer. Boasting up to 24 hours of hydration, this lip product’s formula not only gives off a great glossy look, but also plumps the lips for maximum pout. When it comes to applying a high-shine gloss, it’s imperative to let the product dry down until a film forms. And resist the urge to press your lips together—that will only dull the shine of the gloss. And we wouldn’t want that now, would we? Not when the gloss is this pretty.

Freckle Pen

FRECK BEAUTY Freck OG The Original Freckle SHOP NOW

Once perceived as undesirable, freckles, in recent years, have been making a comeback in beauty. Case in point? For Ruby, Jennie rocked faux freckles—layered under her blush, for a more subtle take. If using a soft brown eyeliner still leaves you with uneven splotches on your cheeks, invest in a faux freckle pen, like this one from Freck Beauty. Specifically designed to create natural-looking freckles, you won’t have to fret over each application. Plus, its formula is buildable and long-lasting, which is perfect for Singapore’s intense heat.

If one Jennie-inspired makeup look isn’t enough for a Blink such as yourself, take a look at the newly-released music video for Zen below. The song is presumed to be part of Ruby, and was dropped—very suddenly, might we add—by Jennie over the weekend. A visual and aural masterpiece, maybe Zen could be your next well of inspiration?
