We’re in June now, and that just means one thing. Say it with me: it’s Couture Week! The crème de la crème of fashion designers are now presenting their Haute Couture collections for the Fall/Winter 2024/2025 season. This year’s lineup includes Dior, Chanel and Schiaparelli, just to name a few familiar favourites. While we’re obviously still obsessing over the intricate pieces from the shows, we can’t help but be enamoured with the beauty details. Both on the runway and in the front row, we’ve noticed some new trends (and some older ones we’re not ready to let go of yet!). Here, GRAZIA presents the best of beauty at the Haute Couture FW24 shows in Paris.

Jodie Turner-Smith At Thom Browne

It seems that Jodie Turner-Smith is bringing back the era of faux piercings. At the Thom Browne Haute Couture show at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, the actress sported a fake eyebrow piercing via some stick-on gems for a soft punk touch to her look. She kept the attention on her eyes, adding a dramatic silver winged liner to deepen the edgy glam. The British model kept the rest of the look minimal and balanced, opting for a nude brown gloss and glass skin, to really allow the eyes shine through.

Keira Knightley At Chanel

Keira Knightley once again proves that she’s the picture of grace and elegance. At Chanel’s Haute Couture presentation this week, Knightley wore her short bob in a soft Hollywood glam style, and kept her makeup look au naturel, in keeping with her classy petticoated organza dress. After all, there’s nothing that screams old money more than Keira Knightley in Chanel.

Alexis Stone At Balenciaga

Is that…Miranda Priestly…? Alexis Stone, celebrated drag queen, turned up to the Balenciaga couture show in full The Devil Wears Prada drag, we did a double take. With massive sunglasses à la Miss Anna and the platinum blown-out bob, Stone channelled the editor-in-chief of Runway magazine flawlessly.

Kylie Jenner At Schiaparelli

A year after she broke the Internet with her taxidermy lion-head at last year’s Schiaparelli show, Kylie Jenner announced her arrival to this year’s edition in a blush pink gown. The figure-hugging embellished number was topped off with a matching ballet slipper-pink face wrap (an accessory that was also present during the actual runway show!). And while the accessory may not be the most practical piece for daily wear, we have to admit that on the red carpet, the veil does a great job of masking and simultaneously unmasking Jenner—the wrap invites you to take a second, closer glance at Jenner’s face. Genius!

Araya Alberta Hargate At Dior

Thai actress and model Araya Alberta Hargate showed us, while at Dior’s Haute Couture show, that barrettes are still very much on-trend. The Dior muse kept her long locks side-swept and tucked away by a sparkly barrette when she attended the show by Maria Grazia Chiuri. Starkly different from Hargate’s typical barely-there eyeliner, she opted for an exaggerated cat-eye look to bring some interest to the soft, doll-inspired look.

Doja Cat At Schiaparelli

Leaning into the icy-blue shadow trend is Doja Cat. At the Schiaparelli show, the rapper posed next to the house’s creative director Daniel Roseberry was quite literally dolled up. With thin brows, striking pale blue shadows and a dramatic winged liner, the glam was made even more eye-catching with her short, cropped hair. Upon closer inspection, you’ll also see that her long, square-tipped nails are covered in a powdery nude shade. A bold shape with a subtle colour—something to consider for your next nail appointment.
