Aman At Sea: Amangati, Its First Ultra-Luxe Motor Yacht Sets Sail In 2027

Luxury has a new name on the high seas—Amangati.

For over three decades, Aman has shaped a world of serene escapes—from the lush cliffs of Phuket to the urban stillness of Tokyo. Now, the revered hospitality brand is set to chart new waters… literally. Enter Amangati, its very first luxury motor yacht, slated to debut in the Mediterranean during the summer of 2027. Translating to ‘peaceful motion’ in Sanskrit, it’s both a poetic nod to the vessel’s graceful yet impeccable form and Aman’s signature experience of understated, otherworldly calm.

Currently under construction by Italian shipbuilder T. Mariotti S.p.A. in Genoa, the yacht is being designed by the acclaimed Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design. They have envisioned a floating sanctuary made for the modern nomad, moving through the water as effortlessly as the brand’s philosophy moves through every property it creates. Think fluidity and forward movement, every curve and line reflecting Aman’s dedication to craftsmanship, tranquillity, and elegance.

At 183 metres in length, this majestic marvel is both impressive and intimate. The yacht will house just 47 expansive suites, among the largest at sea for a vessel of its size, each boasting its own private balcony. This ensures unparalleled space and privacy for guests, the kind of thoughtful comfort and unhurried experience Aman devotees have come to expect. Imagine serene interiors, seamless flow, and an atmosphere that whispers, rather than shouts, opulence.

Beyond its stunning accommodations, Amagati promises a curated onboard experience that mirrors the brand’s land-based resorts. But make no mistake—this isn’t just another superyacht or your typical cruise ship. Among its standout features will be four international dining concepts, offering an elevated culinary journey that spans global cuisines. Evening hours can be spent at the sultry Jazz club, where live music and artisanal cocktails will echo the mood of classic supper clubs.

Wellness remains a cornerstone of the Aman identity, and Amangati will be no exception. An indulgent, state-of-the-art Aman Spa, complete with a Japanese garden, provides visitors with a meditative escape to reset and rejuvenate. Add to that a generous Beach Club located at the stern, which opens directly onto the sea, inviting spontaneous swims and sun-soaked lounging. This caters to guests who want a seamless blend of exploration and relaxation in equal measure.

Vlad Doronin, Chairman and CEO of Aman, described the project as a natural evolution of the brand’s DNA. “Aman is about creating moments of escape, peace, and refinement—and Amangati will offer that in motion,” Doronin explains. “This vessel isn’t just a yacht, it’s a new frontier in ultra-luxury travel.”

True to the brand’s sustainability values, Amangati will incorporate advanced green technologies to reduce noise emissions and minimise its environmental footprint. This includes battery-powered systems to focus on quiet, conscious travel and green yachting. A forward-thinking move that aligns with Aman’s mission to honour the natural beauty of the land (and now, the sea) it calls home.

In addition to scheduled voyages, it will also be available for private charter. This will give visitors the exclusive opportunity to explore the world’s most alluring coastline with the brand’s signature style and discretion. Whether you’re drifting along the sun-drenched Amalfi Coast or dropping anchor in the turquoise shallows of the Caribbean, this luxury motor yacht offers the kind of bespoke, personalised service that has become Aman’s hallmark—only this time, afloat.

Further details, including itineraries and reservation dates, will be announced closer to the launch date. For more updates and information, visit the website.
