Volvo Cars has officially revealed the ES90, a fully electric vehicle that seamlessly merges the best qualities of a sedan, fastback, and SUV. Designed for drivers who value versatility and comfort, the ES90 delivers a premium experience without compromising on performance, space, or efficiency. Its refined engineering ensures that both everyday commutes and long-distance journeys are handled with ease and care.

Safety remains a core focus, with the car incorporating advanced driver-assistance technology such as real-time hazard detection and a new 3D 360-degree camera for effortless parking. Other notable safety features include a door-opening alert to warn passengers of approaching cyclists or pedestrians and driver attention monitoring, which detects any signs of distraction.

At the heart of the ES90 is Volvo’s most advanced next-generation core computing system, which boasts an eightfold increase in processing power compared to previous models. This system enhances vehicle performance and enables over-the-air software updates, ensuring that the car continuously evolves and improves with the latest advancements in efficiency, safety, and convenience.

Marking a significant leap, the ES90 is the first model to adopt 800V battery technology, which allows for faster charging and a longer range than any electric Volvo before. With access to ultra-fast charging stations, drivers can gain up to 300 km of range in just ten minutes. A fully charged battery provides an impressive 700 km of driving range, making long-distance road trips more seamless than ever with limited stops.

The ES90’s sleek, aerodynamic silhouette has a slightly elevated ride height that provides a commanding road presence while the flowing roofline maintains both efficiency and aesthetics. The signature Thor’s Hammer headlights and distinctive C-shaped LED taillights give the car a modern yet unmistakably Volvo identity.

For added practicality, the ES90 comes equipped with a wide-opening tailgate hatch, making it easy to access the 424-litre boot, which expands to 733 litres when the rear seats are folded. The ample cargo space is ideal for family getaways with heavy luggage or outdoor adventures with lots of equipment. Also, a 22-litre front trunk (frunk) provides extra space for storing charging cables and other essentials.

Inside, the ES90 is designed to offer both luxury and cutting-edge technology. The spacious cabin provides plenty of legroom, making long journeys even more enjoyable. Drivers and passengers can also customise their experience with six ambient lighting themes and various premium upholstery options. The vehicle also comes with a panoramic roof that protects against UV rays of up to 99 per cent, keeping everyone cool and comfortable.

For those who appreciate high-quality sound, noise levels are kept to a minimum to allow you to enjoy the superior Bowers & Wilkins audio system. Featuring 25 strategically placed speakers, including the headrest, ceiling, and throughout the cabin, it enables a fully immersive listening experience.

The ES90 is also integrated with Google built-in services and a 5G-capable infotainment system, offering features such as Google Maps, Google Assistant, and other essential apps. Drivers can interact with the system through a nine-inch driver display and a 14.5-inch central touchscreen, delivering any important information you need quickly, like navigation, climate, your phone, and much more.
