When Life Gives You Tangerines

The Electric State

A family’s life is turned upside down when their 13-year-old son is arrested for the murder of a teenage girl. Tensions and questions are raised throughout this limited series. Who is actually responsible? Why did it happen? Could it have been prevented? An interesting fact about the show is that each episode is filmed in one take— adding intensity and giving viewers an immersive, edge-of-your-seat experience.

The Residence

Sing Sing
Premieres 21st March on Max
Divine G is wrongfully imprisoned at the Sing Sing Maximum Security Prison for a crime he didn’t commit. He finds purpose when he joins a theatre art program with other incarcerated men. Prison is a cold, cruel place full of violent men, the program is sort of like an oasis for them to be ‘human’ again. When an outsider joins the group, the men decide to stage their first original comedy.
What’s unique about this film is that it’s based on the real-life Rehabilitation Through the Arts program at Sing Sing, most of the cast are actually formerly incarcerated men who were themselves alumni of the program.
