Love is in the air and on-screen too. February is shaping up to be an exciting month for film and television from heartwarming rom-coms to a new season of the highly acclaimed White Lotus. Apple Cider Vinegar

Premieres 6th February on Netflix

A true-ish story based on a lie. Apple Cider Vinegar is inspired by Australian wellness influencer Belle Gibson, who convinced the world she cured her terminal brain cancer with whole foods and a strict diet. The problem? She never had cancer in the first place.

Her rise to fame was fueled by a mobile app, a cookbook, and a huge online following—all built on a fabricated health journey. The show dives into her rise and fall, exposing the dark side of influencer and girl boss culture, the birth of the Instagram era and its impact on how we see ourselves.

Zero Day

Premieres 20th February on Netflix

Mark your calendars because Robert De Niro is taking on a huge role in this political thriller. He plays a former U.S. President who’s brought in to head the Zero Day Commission, a special task force set up to investigate a devastating cyberattack that resulted in the deaths of 3,402 people. As De Niro’s character digs deeper into the case, viewers will be taken on a ride filled with conspiracies, shocking revelations, and unexpected twists. This show doesn’t just entertain—it also offers a serious look at the destructive power of cybercrime and its real-world consequences.

Melo Movie

Premieres 14th February on Netflix

Love’s in the air, and we’re ready for another romantic K-drama. Melo Movie follows the dreams and love of young people dealing with their own wounds and trauma. Go Gyeum, a passionate film critic, has his life turned upside down when he falls for Kim Mu Bee, a director who has a love/hate relationship with her film-obsessed father. They end up drifting apart because of a mysterious event, but years later, their paths cross again. Their reunion digs up old memories and emotions, forcing them to face their shared past.

Newtopia

Premieres 7th February on Prime Video 

If you’re into zombie apocalypses and Blackpink’s Jisoo, you’re not going to want to miss this. Jisoo plays an engineer whose boyfriend is doing his mandatory military service. The couple breaks up after arguing over being apart for too long. However, that same day, a zombie outbreak spread across Seoul, and the two will do anything and everything to be reunited again. The real question is: will their love survive the apocalypse?

Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy

Renée Zellweger returns as our favourite diarist—she’s once again unlucky in love following the death of her Mr Darcy. The Monkey

Premieres 22nd February in Cinemas

Another Stephen King adaptation? Horror fans will love this. Based on his short story The Monkey, it follows twins Hal and Bill who find their father’s creepy vintage toy monkey in the attic. Soon after, a string of outrageous deaths starts happening. They get rid of the toy and move on, eventually drifting apart. But 25 years later, the monkey starts killing again, forcing the estranged brothers to face their past—and the cursed toy.

The Gorge

Premieres 14th February on AppleTV 

Anya Taylor-Joy and Miles Teller play two top-tier snipers stationed in guard towers on opposite sides of a vast top-secret gorge, without knowing what’s actually hidden below. They form a bond from a distance while staying alert, guarding against a mysterious enemy. But when a massive threat to humanity is finally revealed, they have to team up and push both their physical and mental limits to protect the secret in the gorge before it’s too late.

The White Lotus Season 3

Premieres 16th February on HBOMax

The fictional hotel chain, White Lotus is back with a new group of guests and staff, this time the series will be taking place in Thailand. After season two’s dramatic ending, we’re ready for another round. Creator Mike White revealed the third season of The White Lotus will be a “supersized” season. “It’s going to be longer, bigger, crazier,” he told Vanity Fair. To make things more exciting, Blackpink’s Lisa also makes her acting debut as a hotel staff at the resort.

The Most Beautiful Girl In The World

Premieres 14th February on Netflix

A fun rom-com for Valentine’s: Reuben, a charming playboy, finds himself at a crossroads when his father, the CEO of a media empire passes away. To claim his inheritance, Reuben must fulfil his father’s final wish: produce a dating show and find “the most beautiful girl in the world” to marry. But things take an unexpected turn when Reuben ends up stranded on a remote island with Kiara, the show’s ambitious producer. As they work together to survive, sparks fly, and they realise they might just be a little more alike than they thought.
