Joining the likes of Sienna Miller, Sydney Sweeney and Daisy Edgar-Jones, supermodel-turned-beauty-mogul Bella Hadid has co-signed the bohemian renaissance by wearing an ethereal blush pink dress designed by John Galliano for Dior. Though the resurgence of boho chic has seen Chemena Kamali’s Chloé at the forefront of the redux, Hadid has once again proved her adoration for vintage fashion by pulling an archival piece to celebrate the launch of her latest ‘Ôrəbella fragrance.
With the oil-based perfume aptly titled ‘Nightcap’, Hadid threw a witchy soirée under the rare full blue supermoon in the hills of Hollywood. With astrology readings and a bespoke menu curated by Australian chef Sophie Dalah, Hadid ensured the release of her newest alchemic creation was a lesson in chemistry. Nevertheless, Hadid’s rare dress stole the show.
The piece debuted in the early 2000s and featured a plunging neckline and wrap detailing in the front which created a sultry gathered effect. To tie for, literally. She accessorised the outfit with a floral necklace from Marina Moscone’s Fall 2024 collection.
Speaking on the latest addition to the three-piece lineup, Hadid revealed on Instagram that she had conjured up the scent even before she had a name for her company.
“My dream was to create a mature, sensual, sexy version of the nostalgic and youthful vanilla scents that I’ve always obsessed over,” she wrote. “All of my scents are different parts of me,” she continued before adding, “but truly, Nightcap is all me, through and through…. She might truly be my favourite one yet!”
Sadly, getting our hands on pieces from Hadid’s extensive vintage collection might not be feasible, but at least the 27-year-old is giving us a way to emulate her signature scent.
Speaking of the name, Hadid also shared that the unique title for the brand came to her “in the middle of the night”. “The universe dropped it in my brain,” she shared. A very fitting anecdote for this evening garden party.
