If you happen to be in Paris over the course of the Olympic Games, drop by the OMEGA Pavilion that was just unveiled in Parc de Bercy to round off your experience. The pavilion was launched to celebrate OMEGA’s role as Official Timekeeper of the Olympic and Paralympic Games and sees installations and interactive displays to keep guests engaged.
Start off the experience by exploring an exhibit charting OMEGA’s history with the Olympic and Paralympic games before heading into the pavilion, where an introductory film awaits. Within the venue, numerous areas are dedicated to timekeeping technologies used at the sporting event, and some of OMEGA’s most important timekeeping equipment like the electronic starting pistol and the new Scan’O’Vision camera will be on display for guests to experience up close.
The highlight of the OMEGA Pavilion, though? The Race of Champions simulation, which will allow guests to put their sprinting skills to the test on the 10m running track featuring a real starting block. This experience also has a digital feature that will compare your timing to that of Olympic and Paralympic athletes for a real challenge.
Don’t miss the Swimming Pool room with genuine underwater effects, biographies of OMEGA’s athlete ambassadors in the Locker Room and an in-depth look at the Hurdles event while you’re there. Exclusive watch models dedicated to Paris 2024 are also available for viewing in the pavilion.
The OMEGA Pavilion will be open to the public from 10am to 10pm every day of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. This includes the dates of 27 July to 11 August and 28 August to 8 September 2024.
Entrance is free.
